A tiny bit of history

Snake dates back to the 1976 arcade game Blockade, but it conquered the world in 1998 when Nokia preinstalled it on their phones. Hundreds of millions of people learned it on a 84×48-pixel screen. The version you're playing keeps that spirit: no power-ups, no lives, no mercy — just you and the tail you built.
