CPS Test โ€” free click speed test in your browser

The CPS test (clicks per second) is the classic way to measure raw clicking speed. Pick a duration โ€” 5, 10 or 30 seconds โ€” then click the big zone as fast as you physically can. The timer starts on your first click, a live counter shows your pace, and at the end you get your CPS score to one decimal plus a rank, from Turtle ๐Ÿข all the way to Jitter-click god ๐Ÿ‘ฝ.

It's free, runs in any browser with no download, and works on phones too โ€” tap with as many fingers as you like, one tap at a time. Your best score for each duration is saved on your device, so there's always a number to beat.

How to play

What's a good CPS? Ranks, records, and techniques

Most people click around 4โ€“6 CPS with a normal index finger โ€” that's the Average ๐Ÿ™‚ band here. Getting above 8 usually requires a technique: jitter clicking (tensing the forearm so the hand vibrates against the button) reaches 10โ€“14 CPS, and butterfly clicking (alternating two fingers on one button) can go higher still. Competitive Minecraft PvP players train these seriously, since faster clicks mean more hits. Record attempts with these techniques exceed 20 CPS in short bursts, though nobody sustains that for 30 seconds โ€” which is exactly why the 30s mode is the honest one: short tests reward burst speed, long tests reward rhythm and stamina. If your 5s score is much higher than your 30s score, you're a sprinter, not a marathoner.
